I had actually gone to the cliffs at Loggerheads Country Park, near Mold, to capture the distant views of Moel Famau, the highest hill in the Clwydian Range. However, I couldn't resist the scene behind me as storm clouds, illuminated by the evening sun, brooded over the nearby woodland.
This painting will be on display at the Mall Galleries in London from 27th July to 8th August as part of the Federation of British Artists exhibtion "Winners: Award Winning Artists 2020 - 22"
